Obituary of Dennis Ray Starkey

Dennis Ray Starkey, age 73, of Nutter Fort, WV, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. He was born April 25, 1949, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Garland and Eloise V. Tharp Starkey. He is survived by his sister, Sandra V. Moscar of Clarksburg, WV; one niece, Michelle Bennett and husband Ron of Lumberport, WV; two nephews, Teddy Moscar, II and wife Robin of Stem, NC and Shawn Moscar of Clarksburg and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Mr. Starkey was a wood worker at the Work Adjustment Center. Friends will be received Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 5 PM until 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Sam Cale, III officiating. Burial will follow in the Hampton Cemetery in Hampton, WV.
