Dorothy Ann (Hamner) Radcliff

Clarksburg Road – Dorothy Ann (Hamner) Radcliff, 81, died September 11, 2022, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV due to a brief illness. Dorothy was born March 24, 1941, in Sago, WV, a daughter of the late George Burr Hamner and Arnie Doris (Wyatt) Hamner. She was married August 1, 1964, to Hearlon Leon Radcliff, who survives. Mrs. Radcliff is survived by one son and daughter-in-law and two daughters and sons-in-law, Daniel and Kristy Radcliff of Hodgesville, Marsha (Radcliff) and Chuck Rokohl of Porter, TX, and Beverly (Radcliff) and Mike Burge of Bridgeport. She is survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is survived by three brothers, two sisters-in-law, and one sister, Tom and Janet Hamner, Indian Camp, Roger Hamner, Abbott Road, Paul and Liz Hamner, French Creek, Debbie Hamner, Glady Fork, Cheryl (Robert) Hamner, Alexander, and Linda (Hamner) Reaser, Harrisville along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Robert and Luella Hamner, Junior (Debbie) Hamner, and Pat (Roger) Hamner. Dorothy was a homemaker for many years and a Baptist by faith. Family and friends will be received at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home, Buckhannon, WV on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 4 PM to 8 PM and the funeral will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at 1 PM with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV, the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV and the Hospice Team for the care that she received. Mr. Radcliff sends a personal thank you to the Upshur County Senior Center for the comradery and fellowship they have shown to both of them.
