With deep sadness, I read this obituary. Jim has been a part of our family and the best friend of my oldest son since grade school. He and his brother Tim and our son Steve formed their first band In our garage in the sixties when they were in high school. I loved hearing them play since I have always loved music. He also traveled with me when I was singing at Petersburg WV, and he and others backed me for a band. I loved singing with them and it was some of my happiest times. Jim came to visit us last year and we had a long visit. I knew he was not doing well then. I was so afraid he was going to fall down the front stairs as he was leaving our home. I spoke with him several times after that on the telephone and sadly missed him when he stopped calling. He will always hold a special place in my heart. My heart and prayers go out to his wife and father and sister. He was a very special person and I will always miss him and his twin brother Tim. He's playing in Our Heavenly Fathers music band now, no doubt in my mind, He was a very special person. My deepest condolences to his family, Rest in peace my friend, You are not suffering now. Parkinson's disease is a terrible disease that robs you of so much. God Bless and I will never forget you or the great musician you were. Hugs and prayers to the family.
