ShouldersVelma Visitation Sunday, April 13, 2008 6-8 PM Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home Funeral Service Monday, April 14, 2008 11 AM Funeral Home Burial Laurel Fork Cemtery Velma Sue Shoulders Velma Sue Shoulders, age 65, of Adrian, WV died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital in Weston, WV. She was born July 21, 1942 in Linn, WV, a daughter of the late Archie and Ethel Carr McHenry. On August 3, 1963 she married Elza Kyle Shoulders who preceded her in death on November 12, 1995. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Jackie and Larry McHenry and one sister, Virginia Carte. She is survived by one son, Russell Shoulders and wife Kristine of Buckhannon; three grandson, James Hebb, Joshua Black and Adam Shoulders all of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Kristen Hebb, Katie and Amber Shoulders all of Buckhannon; one great-granddaughter, Faith Hyre of Buckhannon; three brothers, Junior McHenry of Cross Lanes, WV, Eugene McHenry of Akron, OH and Wayne McHenry of Lost Creek, WV and one sister, Marie McHenry of Duck, WV. Mrs. Shoulders was a homemaker and a Christian by faith. Friends will be received Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 6-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Church Cemetery in French Creek, WV.
