My wife and I joined the family when Mac and Mary Sue's daughter, Jennifer, married our son Ralph. We found Mac to be a man of great character and integrity. His beautiful daughters reflect that the Apple does not fall far from the tree. We were friends with Mac immediately. It was easy to like him.
We were privileged to spend a family vacation at Kiawah Island with Mac, Mary Sue, Ralph III and Jenny and Ralph IV. Though Mac and Mary Sue tried to provide pointers on how to better hit a golf ball, it was in vain. That vacation further cemented our relationship.
All who knew Mac will miss him, but they will never forget him. He is with the Lord and his wife. If there is golf up there, they both are in the fairway.
