Obituary of Dorsey Lee Campbell

Dorsey Lee Campbell, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, July 2, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born May 8, 1958, in Buckhannon, a son of Martin Campbell who survives of Buckhannon and the late Ruth Poling Campbell. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife of 35 years, Anita Champ Campbell of Buckhannon; seven children, Michelle Belfiore (Jody) of Cambridge Springs, PA, Nichole Campbell of Buckhannon, Rob Poling (Mona) of Buckhannon, Jerry Berry (Shelia) of Acworth, GA, Kiley Greenway (Brent) of Romney, WV, Becky Cain of Buckhannon, and Deann Moore (Adam) of Buckhannon; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Nancy Nottingham (Andy) of Weston, WV and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dave Campbell, Great-granddaughter, Callie Poling and brother, Larry Campbell. Dorsey served in the U. S. Army, worked on the oil and gas rigs and loved riding his motorcycle and Jeep. He never met a stranger and will be loved and missed by all. Friends will be received Wednesday, July 6 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM with Pastor Jeff Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Vegan, WV. The Upshur County Honor Guard will perform military honors at the graveside.
