Linda K. Carpenter

Linda K. Carpenter, age 72, of Philippi, WV, died Thursday, April 14, 2022, at her home. She was born August 1, 1949, in Holden, WV, a daughter of the late Frelin and Virgie Workman Farley. On March 21, 1970, she married Roger Carpenter who survives of Philippi. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Angela Lynn Dudley and husband Rick of Elkins, WV, David Howe of IL, April Elliott and husband Mike of Philippi, Roger Carpenter, Jr. and wife Tonya of Orlando, WV and Melissa Carpenter of Belington, WV; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one sister and two brothers. Mrs. Carpenter was a homemaker. She spent 52 wonderful years of marriage with her husband, whom she loved dearly. She was good to everybody, loved canning, gardening and digging ginseng. Private services were held for the family. Burial was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Hemlock, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
