To Tina and Brian, I/we are so sorry to see the obituary of your dad in Tuesday's Frederick Post of your dad's passing. I see by his age that he was same age as me and by the insignia on his hat that he was in the army during a very dangerous time and probably in a very dangerous place. In looking at some other comments I see that some have thanked him for his service which is a very kind thing to say these days. In that era no one thanked anyone in the military for serving. That being the case I salute him for his time in the service as only another member of the service (not the same as his) could do so.

Clyde used to bring his children to the orthodontist I worked for. Years later when we moved to our home in Dickerson, Alvin became great friends with Clyde at Flint Hill Auto. Thank you Clyde for all the memories. Condolences to Shelia, Cindy and Brian. Your Dad was a great guy.
Dora & family, I'm so very sorry for the tremendous loss you've suffered. I'll never forget the first (and only lol) time I plucked a chicken in your back yard. Clyde was trying teach me how to do it. May God comfort and keep you in this difficult time. Love to each and every one of you.
