Karen Post, age 71, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, December 12, 2021, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. She was born July 6, 1950, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Fred and Ava Pauline Godfrey Bragg. She is survived by her husband, James Post of Elkins, WV; one son, Jimmie Post and wife Carolyn of Elkins; one daughter, Peggy Lynn and husband Josh of Bedford, VA; one grandson, Joshua Post of Elkins; three granddaughters, Aerin Post of Elkins, Myra Post and wife Alexandria Caitlin of FL and Kristin Lynn and fiancé AJ Rose of VA; one great grandson, Jeremiah Rose of VA and one brother, Roy Bragg and wife Barbara of Belington, WV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Troy, Jackie, Darrell and Eugen Bragg. Mrs. Post was a homemaker and a Christian by Faith. Friends will be received Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
