Frank, Robert and family... my deepest condolences on the passing of your father. He was my art teacher in the 60's and gave me a love for art that I have cherished in many forms... artwork, painting, embroidery, etc as they all have artistic love and appreciation of the beautiful world that God created. I love to paint, sketch, draw, and take photos because of your father. He was a great teacher. He loved to teach and show others his love for painting, etc. I learned so much from him because he made it easy, he made it fun and he helped anyone to be able to draw and paint. His love of artwork will live on in people like me as a legacy, because I taught my children to love the beauty of God's wonderful creations ...birds, trees, sky, flowers, etc. Now I have the wonderful pleasure to teach my grandchildren the same. I spent many hours helping my children learn how to paint, draw, sewing...and started them drawing, painting when they were little so that when they grew older, they had that same background that Mr. Floyd placed in me so they could enjoy the peacefulness that comes with artwork. I will always remember your father/grandfather with much love.
