Obituary of Charles A. Smith

SmithCharles Charles A. Smith Charles A. Smith, age 78, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born July 18, 1928 in Detroit, MI a son of the late Charles A. Smith and Carrie Smith Nalle. On June 17, 1967 he married Alicia J. Lomas who survives. Also surviving are several cousins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Ernest Smith. Mr. Smith was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Detroit. He was a laundry worker and was employed by the Palace Quality Laundry in Detroit. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Stackpole officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the funeral hour. Burial will follow at the Bethel Cemetery at Audra, WV.
