Obituary of Arthur Hubert Smith

SmithArthur Arthur H. Smith Arthur H. Smith, age 79, of Rt. 1 Buckhannon, WV died Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Holbrook’s Nursing Home. He was born December 20, 1927 in Calhoun Falls, SC, a son of the late James McDowell and Willie Pauline Cannon Smith. He is survived by his companion, Johanna Plisko Pearson of Buckhannon; one son Michael Allen of Topeka, KS; one daughter Robin of Olathe, KS; one step son, Ken Pearson & wife Sarah of Buckhannon; two step granddaughters, Amy Pearson of Buckhannon and Jessy Pearson of Winchester, VA; two step grandsons, Austin and Dylan Metz both of Buckhannon. Mr. Smith was a brick mason, a member of Buckhannon Moose Lodge # 598, Buckhannon VFW Post # 3663 and the Buckhannon Eagles Club. Mr. Smith will be cremated and there will be no services here in Buckhannon. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
