Dustin C. Peterson, age 45, of Buckhannon, WV died unexpectedly on August 28, 2021. His death was completely unexpected and the family is deeply saddened. Dustin was born on April 11, 1976 to Kenneth and Serena Peterson of Buckhannon, WV. Dustin attended Buckhannon Upshur High School and was passionate about art. Dustin married his wife, Nycole Soebbing on April 24, 2003. They were married for 18 years. They were blessed with three amazing sons, Alexander G. Peterson, Tyler R. Peterson and Robert A. Peterson. Aside from being survived by his wife and sons, Dustin also leaves behind his parents Kenneth and Serena Peterson of Buckhannon; maternal grandfather, Paul Linger of Buckhannon; parents-in-law, Donna and Michael Zimmerman of Inwood, WV; father-in-law, Jerome Soebbing of Quincy, IL and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and sisters-in-law. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Geraldine “Jerry” Linger; paternal grandparents Jeff Peterson of Racine, WV, Elizabeth “Betty” and Alfred McDonald of Orange City, FL; aunt, Sharon Sue Peterson of St. Cloud, FL; uncle, Robert Peterson of St. Cloud, FL and several other aunts and uncles. Dustin will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A private interment will be held for the immediate family. “Therefore you too have grief now, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you.” John 16:22.
