Steve Fultz, age 74, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, August 5, 2021, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV. He was born September 19, 1946, in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Gene Smith and Freda Mallett Fultz. He married Barbara Radabaugh, who survives. Also surviving are, one daughter, Missy Light and husband Craig of Edmond, WV; one son, Matt Fultz of Buckhannon; one grandson, Logan Light of Oak Hill, WV; one granddaughter, Akyra Fultz of Buckhannon; mother-in-law, Faye Byers of Buckhannon; one sister, Donna Minton and husband Paul of Parkersburg, WV; three brothers-in-law, Blaine Radabaugh and wife Shirley, Charlie Radabaugh and wife Ellen and Edward Radabaugh all of Buckhannon; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Alkire and husband Dave of Buckhannon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Edith “Bambump” Hinkle; granddaughter, Chelsey Light; brother-in-law, Wiley Byers and beloved dog, Jazzy. Mr. Fultz served in the U. S. Navy during Vietnam and retired from Columbia Gas as a well tender. Friends will be received for a graveside memorial service Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 2 PM in the Radabaugh Cemetery. The Upshur County Honor Guard will provide military honors graveside.
