Betty Jo Edgell

Betty Jo Edgell, age 52, of Flemington, WV, died Sunday, May 30, 2021, at her home. She was born November 25, 1968, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of Dannie and Betty Perkey Casto of Flemington, WV. In addition to her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Dannie Casto and wife Katina of Flemington, WV, Garth Perkey and wife Michelle of Fairmont, WV, and Travis Casto of Flemington, WV; two sisters, Melinda Johnson and fiancé Freddie Shatterfield of Clarksburg, WV and Cathy Tenney and husband Rodney “Tiger” of Tallmansville, WV; and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Edgell was a caregiver who loved caring for others and was a Christian by faith, she also enjoyed traveling and going to yard sales. She was a very caring, loving free hearted person who will be missed by all who loved her. Friends will be received Friday June 4, 2021 from 10am-12pm at the Sago Baptist Church in Sago, WV. A funeral service will be held at 12pm at the church with John Casto officiating. Burial will follow in the Elbon Cemetery in Sago. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
