Obituary of Claude Marion Tenney

Claude Marion Tenney, age 85, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at his home. He was born October 8, 1935 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Elihu Deco and Ivy Tenney Tenney. On June 7, 1963, he married Regina Lantz who survives of Buckhannon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers and one sister. Mr. Tenney was a contractor. He loved to make custom woodwork, remodel houses, and build new houses. He was a Christian by faith. Friends will be received Tuesday, May 25, 2021 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Mt. Union United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held 1 PM at the church on Tuesday with the Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
