Violet Eva Wines

Violet Eva Wines, age 86, of Buckhannon, WV died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Holbrook Health Care Center in Buckhannon. She was born August 30, 1934, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Parl and Daisy West Ware. On February 25, 1975, she married Erwin Edward Wines who preceded her in death on March 28, 2010. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Violet Dean. Surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Smaldone and husband Eric and Janet Little and husband Edward all of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; two sons, Randall Lee Dean of Buckhannon and William Edward Dean and companion Becky of Steinhatchee, FL; four grandsons, Randy Dean Jr. and wife Vanessa and Dustin Dean all of Buckhannon, Jason Dean of NY and Tyler Smaldone of Palm Beach Garden; one granddaughter, Caelyn Little of Palm Beach Gardens; four great granddaughters, Alex, Harley, Jillian and Brooklyn Dean all of Buckhannon; two great grandsons, Brody Smaldone of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and JJ Dean of NY; one brother, Guy Ware and wife Barbara of Buckhannon; two sisters, Betty Lou Curtis of Buckhannon and Sue Siron and husband Bob of NJ and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Wines was a Registered Nurse and a member of the Independent Word of Life Church. She loved to read and was an avid church goer. Friends will be received Friday, May 21, 2021 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Guy Ware officiating. In honoring Mrs. Wines’ wishes she will be cremated following the funeral service.
