Obituary of Russell Sterling Denny

Russell Sterling Denny, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at his home. He was born January 22, 1937, in Wauwatosa, WI, a son of the late Robert and Evelyn Webster Denny. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Metro Denny and one brother, Bob Denny. He is survived by two sons, Russell Denny, Jr., and Jay Denny; two daughters, Darlene Denny and Doreen Irwin; two stepdaughters, Debra L. Crites and husband Allen and Carol Guillen; one stepson, Michael Dahl and wife Hope; numerous grandchildren and his beloved dog, Buster. Mr. Denny was a Native American and part of the Oneida Tribe of Indians of Wisconsin. He was a member of the Eagles. He was a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and loved classic cars.
