Our family has such wonderful memories of Jeff and his family during the time he served McCann's Run Church. What a true gentleman and teacher of God's word.

Dear Lynelle & family, Pat and I were so saddened upon reading of Jeff's passing. He touched a lot of people through his ministry, coaching and teaching. His loyalty to Buccaneer sports was always notable. Sincere condolences and Godspeed. Jim & Pat Marsh

I am saddened (for the family and for the rest of us who have been blessed to have Jeff in our lives), yet rejoice that he has heard what we all want to hear, "Well done, good and faithful servant...enter into the joy of thy LORD." He was a friend, colleague, seminary classmate, and a Brother-in-CHRIST. Jeff, you're missed.

Lynelle and family.
Jeff was a great friend. I have many special memories of our times at Church, on the golf course and attending Pirate baseball games.
I will always remember the Seeking Heaven in '07 services we had at Tennerton, Jeff speaking to an Angel at a Pirate baseball game and Jeff's hole in 1 at Stonewall Resort followed by an 11 on the next hole played.
Jeff was a big help in getting the Christian Golfers Chapter started and was always supportive of my Lay Speaking at Church.
I look forward to seeing him again in Heaven someday.
May the Lord bless and keep your family.
God bless
Mike Hinkle

I am so sorry for your loss. The first time our family encountered Jeff he was preaching at a service where we were singing. I could have never imagined coming to know Lynelle, Barb and April. My heart goes out to each of you. I love you all.

Jeff was my friend, teammate and coaching partner. The past few years Jeff was in constant pain but even with his pain he continue to work his magic with others. His players loved him for his loyalty and caring concern. Many times I would ask him his opinion and knew the answer might not be the answer I was looking for but it would be an honest one. With Jeff’s passing we lost a friend, leader and mentor but God got a true first team player. Doug Bush

Lynelle & Family ~ Our Prayers continue in your loss. We will never forget meeting you & Jeff on the Bus trip to Maine.
He sat behind us on the bus & we realized about 1/2 way on the trip that he graduated with my Brother~Steve Holloway.
Such a GREAT time & even though Jeff had just had Surgery~ He moved right along with all. It was such a JOY to see him get up & DANCE @ Dinner ! What a wonderful person!! Enjoyed the fun, laughter & Christian fellowship. He will be missed
by SO many. May you RIP ~ “Chicken Wing”

Jeff was a terrific guy! We shared many a Civil War re-enactments, Droop Mountain, Rich Mountain, Cedar Creek, and so many more. One memory of Jeff comes from Cedar Creek. Our joint company, the 91st OVI and the 1st WV, was all aligned ready to fire. He served as the company’s Lieutenant that day. As Captain, I gave all the commands to prepare the company to fire and then went down a casualty. He was taken totally by surprise, as I planned. He didn’t realize what I’d done until some of the guys started complaining their rifles were getting heavy at the fire position. A great pard to have in camp and on the field!
