Obituary of Pamela Kay Casto

Pamela Kay Casto, age 69, of Buckhannon, WV, died Sunday, April 25, 2021, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born March 16, 1952, in Upshur County, WV, a daughter of the late Harry and Freda Potts Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sons, James Phillips, David Bradley Casto, John Edward Brady and Joshua Shankle and two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her loving life partner, William “Bill” Mowery of Buckhannon; four sons, Buddy Knight, Chad Casto and wife Brittany, Kevin Casto and wife Jency and Shane Courtney and fiancé Kayla Tenney all of Buckhannon; three daughters,  Misty Casto-Ball of Buckhannon, Jamie Backlin and husband David and Amber Workman and husband Michael of Lost Creek, WV; fourteen grandsons, twelve granddaughters and one great-grandson. Mrs. Casto was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith. She was an outspoken, animal lover who enjoyed bingo and going to yard sales. Mrs. Casto was a loving mother of twelve children who always did the best she could. She adored her grandchildren. Friends will be received Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 3 PM Thursday at the funeral home with Rev.
