Obituary of Everett Edgle Castle

Everett Edgle Castle, age 77, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Holbrook Health Care Center in Buckhannon. He was born November 20, 1943, in Paintsville, KY, a son of the Late Everett E. and Melissa Stumbaugh Castle. On July 31, 1967, he married Edith Carol Castle who survives of Buckhannon. Also surviving are two sons, Shane Castle and wife Asia and Everett Castle Jr., and wife Kathy;  eight grandchildren, Christopher, Karissa, Brandon, Taylor, Everett III, Makayla, Gabriella, and Harper Castle and his nephew, Curtis Johnson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Lucas, and Dakota Castle and eight siblings, Joe, Billy, Carvy, Millie, Doris, Unis, Beulah, and Phyllis Castle. Mr. Castle was a welder and retired from the United Mine Workers Association. He was also an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as building things. Friends will be received Friday, April 2, 2021 from 4PM-6PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 11AM at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Trent officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Caramel Cemetery in Tallmansville, WV.
