Obituary of Sharon Ray Fealy

Sharon Ray (Griffith) Fealy passed away peacefully on March 8, 2021 at her residence at the age of 74.  Born September 13, 1946 in Buckhannon, West Virginia, she was the second daughter of the late Olen Ulysses Griffith and Izetta Mae (White) Griffith Lynch.  Sharon married Joseph F. Fealy in February 1966 who preceded her in death. Surviving are her three children, Joseph F. Fealy, II and wife Sandra of Ellamore, WV; Jason C. Fealy and wife Christine of Chesapeake, VA; and Jena R. Fealy of Buckhannon, WV.  She had a total of six grandchildren that she dearly loved:  Taylor R. Fealy of DC; Amberly J. Fealy and Alexis H. Fealy of Ellamore, WV; Josie E. Fealy of Buckhannon, WV; and grandsons Jackson S. Fealy and Sawyer G. Fealy of Chesapeake, VA.  Also surviving is her beloved sister Judy (Griffith) Vincent of Buckhannon and her family; and her faithful companion Pepper. Sharon worked for the United States Post Office for 28 years before retiring.  She loved to garden, go on many travel adventures with her sister, and spend time with her family and friends.  The family wishes to express special appreciation to the WVU Medicine Hospice of Buckhannon, WV for taking such great care of their mother.  Although no funeral service will be conducted, Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
