Obituary of Sue Bradley Gould

Please share a memory of Sue to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Sue Bradley Gould departed her earthly life on February 11, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Edward “Coke” Gould.  Sue answered to many terms of endearment, Sue B, Mom, Grams, Gigi, and Aunt Sue.  Forever holding her close in their hearts are daughters Carla Waldo and husband Mark, Laura Jones and husband Stephen, and son JB Gould; grandsons, Benjamin Waldo, wife Janna, and their children Abraham and Annette; Tyler Waldo, wife Jessica and their children Brooks and Justine; step grandson Andrew Jones; sister Sally Stinson and beloved nieces and nephews. Sue graduated from Belpre High School in Ohio and earned advanced degrees from West Virginia Wesleyan College and West Virginia University; an amazing achievement while raising a family and working full time. She touched and supported others in a variety of ways.  All kinds were welcomed at Sue and Coke’s home; some stayed for a visit, others for a while.  The family extends their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Darlene Hornbeck, Sharon Jenkins, and Hope Suder for their loving care and dedication to Sue and her family.  An additional thank you to the West Virginia Hospice staff for their support. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to West Virginia Wesleyan College to provide scholarships for non-traditional students.  A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
