Obituary of Geraldine Kay Rowan

Geraldine “Gerri” Kay Rowan Geraldine “Gerri” Kay Rowan, age 58, of Buckhannon, WV died Friday, April 8, 2016 at her home. She was born July 14, 1957 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Beulah Jeffries McCreary and step father, Maxie McCreary. Also preceding her in death was one brother, Rocky Jeffries. On July 21, 1973 she married Marvin Rowan who survives. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons, Anthony and Jeremy Rowan both of Buckhannon; two daughters, Shannon Rowan and Brandy Barker both of Buckhannon; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Maxie McCreary, Jr. and Timothy McCreary both of Marion, SC; one sister, Patricia Henry of Omaha, NE and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rowan worked in Home Health Care. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 13, 2016 from 11 AM until 12 Noon at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home.
