Bernard Eugene Duke

Bernard Eugene Duke, age 67, of Indian Camp, WV, died Saturday, January 30, 2021, at his home. He was born October 25, 1953, in Philippi, WV, a son of Hester Caroline Duke Newcome who survives. On January 20, 2021, he married Terena Baldwin Davis after over 20 years of being in a relationship. In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by two daughters, Stephanie Duke-Chase and husband Nick of VA and Carla Yoakum and husband Steve of Tallmansville, WV; four sons, Phillip Duke and wife Amber of MS, Terry and Corey Duke both of Buckhannon, WV and Bradley Duke of Indian Camp; one step daughter, Jessica Davis of Buckhannon; one step son, Barry Adkins and wife Pam of Pittsburgh, PA; five granddaughters, Mikinley Duke of Buckhannon, Karoline Yoakum of Tallmansville, Dre Rowan of VA, Cameren Duke of MS and Patience Duke of VA; seven grandsons, Aiden Edwards of FL, twins Luke and Killian Adkins both of Pittsburgh, Lennon Lane of Buckhannon, Josh and Matthew Chase of VA and Hunter Duke of MS and his beloved dog Molly. He was preceded in death by one brother, Earnest William Duke. Mr. Duke served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam as a Radio Ops. He was a Christian by faith and a Tool Pusher/Rig Manager in the oil and gas industry. Friends will be received Saturday, February 6, 2021, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Indian Camp Church Cemetery in Indian Camp, WV.
