Obituary of Rosetta Dean Miller

Rosetta Dean Miller, 92, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Born in Indian Camp, WV, she was the daughter of the late Stephen Wayne Fultz and Edith DeBarr Fultz. She was retired from the Upshur County Board of Education in Buckhannon, WV, where she was employed for over 30 years. She is survived by one daughter Marissa Junkins (Joe) of South Carolina; one step-daughter, Janis Smith (Doug) of Maryland; grandchildren, William Jason Casada (Kim), Jennifer Casada Grissinger (Greg), Jeremy Casada (Heather) and Heather Trammel; ten wonderful and beautiful great-grandchildren, Zoe Rose Grissinger, Magnus Grissinger, Maddox Grissinger, Travis Maines, Christian Casada, Kimberly Casada, Bella Casada, Allie Casada, J.J. Smith and Kristen Jones (Colt); three great-great-grandchildren, Hunter Jones, Maci'lasha Jones and Brantley Jones; two nephews, Steve Fultz (Barbara) of Buckhannon, WV and Kenneth Braden, of Florida; one niece, Donna Sue Minton (Paul) of Parkersburg, WV; two special sisters-in-law, Billie Zickefoose and Maudeline Barnett (sisters of Hartzel Miller). Other special people in Rosetta's life were the many wonderful friends and loving church family of the South Buckhannon Mission Church, where she was a member. Also a special thanks go to Pastor Drew Hines and Associate Pastor Joe Price, of Washington Baptist Church in Greer; and the late Marshall Barnes and sister, Ona Reid also of Greer, for the part they played in her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, French W. Dean, and her second husband, Hartzel Miller; three sisters, Donna Louise Fultz, Ruby Fultz Braden and Jerri Fultz; brother, Gene B. Fultz; great-grandchildren, Angel Grace Casada and Peyton Casada; and a loving cousin, Catherine Cutlip. Friends will be received Friday, February 5, 2021, from 12 PM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Lowther officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV.  Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
