With profound sadness we announce the passing of Dolores Loudin, our loving devoted mother and friend to all of those whose lives she touched. Dolores J. Loudin (Walton), age 79 gained her angel wings on Monday, January 25, 2021 after battling Covid-19. First and foremost, Dolores was a dedicated mother. Every moment with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were deeply embraced and treasured. Dolores had a love for others and a way with words that always made people around her feel both comforted and loved. She was born on August 29th, 1941 in Buckhannon, WV to the late Justice Walton and Mary Tenney Cassort. She was raised by her grandmother and grandfather the late Flora and Richard Walton of Buckhannon. Dolores worked at Reidbord’s Company, Pat’s Drive-In and later was a Home Interior distributer before becoming a full-time homemaker. For most of her life, Dolores attended the Living Word Church of God in Buckhannon, WV. On December 13th, 1963, she married the late William B. Loudin in Buckhannon, WV. In addition to her parents, grandparents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Tex Edward Walton and sister in law, Xenna Loudin. Dolores is survived by three daughters, Dee-Dee and husband Brad Liggett and Angela Dalton both of Buckhannon as well as Charity Fogg of Jacksonville, FL; three granddaughters, Chantelle and husband Eric Kerr and Lexie Dalton all of Buckhannon and Michaela Fogg of Jacksonville, FL; two grandsons, Derek and wife Whitney Marsh of Buckhannon and Bronson Fogg of Jacksonville FL; five great-grandsons, Channing Kerr, Sawyer Marsh, Kingston Kerr, August Kerr and Rylan Marsh all of Buckhannon; two brothers, Bob Walton and wife Linda of Marion, NC and Jim Walton and wife Marilyn of Buckhannon; three sisters, Kay Stone and husband Dale of Poway, CA, Lynn Linger and husband Bill of Buckhannon and Sue Pugh and husband Ron of Buckhannon; one uncle, Buck Walton of Buckhannon; special sister, Mary Marks and husband Delmas of Buckhannon and sister-in-law, Hazel Walton of Buckhannon. A private service will be held for the family. Burial will take place in Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Friends are invited to watch her funeral service virtually on her tribute page, located at www.polingstclair.com, beginning Saturday, January 30, 2021 at noon.
