Obituary of Barbara Iden Rexroad

Barbara Iden Rexroad Barbara Iden Rexroad, age 81, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, April 3, 2016 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport WV. She was born August 29, 1934 in Davis, WV, a daughter of the late C. Fred and Katherine Grace Crawford Iden. On July 3, 1952 she married Nathan Junior Rexroad who preceded her in death March 5, 1981. She is survived by three daughters, Stephenie Rexroad of Clarksburg and identical twins, Jennifer Rexroad and Jack Kort of Gaithersburg, MD and Barbara Rexroad-Snyder and husband Robert of North Potomac, MD; one son, Timothy Rexroad of Springfield, VA; two granddaughters, Katherine Pei Pei Rexroad and Stephenie Mei Mei Rexroad both of Clarksburg; one grandson, William Nathan Rexroad Snyder of North Potomac; identical twin sister, Marie Iden Manley of Buckhannon; one brother, John Frederick Iden and wife Rose of Martinsburg, WV; one nephew, Robert Iden Manley of Buckhannon and two nieces, Roberta Ann Manley of Clarksburg and Mary Kay Iden of Martinsburg. Mrs. Rexroad was interior designer for the Appliance Furniture Mart which she and her twin sister Marie Manley ran for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Buckhannon. Barbara had many wonderful pets in her life that were very special to her and she went out of her way to help any animal in need. Friends will be received Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon. Barbara’s family would like to thank the staff of United Hospital Center, 6 North and South and Peoples Hospice of United Hospital Center for the care they provided.
