Donna Sue Lloyd, age 56, of Buckhannon, WV, passed away on New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31st, 2020, at her home with her loving companion Molly by her side. Donna was born on October 28th, 1964, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of the late Bernard and Violet “Dolly” Lloyd. Donna has 2 surviving loving sisters: Darlene Polk and husband David of Monroe, NC; and Dorothy Sesco of Buckhannon. Donna began her life of service to others at a young age by enlisting in the United States Army Reserves, where she spent 5 honorable years serving and protecting her country. Donna gave birth to 4 children: TJ Radabaugh and wife Becky of Elkins, WV; Shaelynn Glasser and husband Dameon of Buckhannon; Danielle Bellomy of Buckhannon; and Harley Gregory of Buckhannon. Donna devoted her life to serving not only her country, but her children and grandchildren who adored her. Donna would spend every moment she could with her 10 grandchildren: Brooklynn, Laykin, Aliyah, Ariel, Davon, Memphes, Ariyonna, Damian, Aiden, and Jadelynn. Donna was also proud of her nieces and nephews: Travis Page of Buckhannon; Kayla Sesco of Buckhannon; Tiffany Polk of Buckhannon; Jordan Polk of Monroe; and the late Brandon Sesco. Donna’s family meant everything to her, and they will miss her dearly. Donna worked hard for her family as a biscuit maker at Tudor’s Biscuit World in Buckhannon, to provide for them and ensure nobody went without. Donna had a work ethic that was unmatched by others and a love for her family that will live on forever. Her laugh and smile were contagious, and her outgoing personality would make a stranger feel loved and accepted. It has long been said that once you have a spot in Donna’s heart, you were there forever. Donna was preceded in death by her mother and father Bernard and Violet “Dolly” Lloyd, sister Carol Lloyd, and nephew Brandon Sesco. Friends will be received Monday, January 4, 2020, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM with the Rev. Junior Harris officiating.
