Obituary of Ronald Lee Jeffries

Ronald Lee Jeffries age 73 of Buckhannon, WV died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born October 8, 1947 in Buckhannon, a son of the late Arnold Lee Jeffries and Alice Mae Mick Paugh. On January 22, 1971 he married Deloris Overfield who survives in Buckhannon. Also surviving are his step father, Miles Paugh of Buckhannon; two daughters, Ronda Trader and husband Timothy and Leanna Talbott and husband Michael all of Buckhannon; three granddaughters, Chelsey Dodrill and husband Luke, Micah Talbott and fiancé Levi Unger and Katlyn Wolford and husband Kendall all of Buckhannon; one grandson, Dustin Talbott and wife Savannah of Buckhannon; two great granddaughters, Kylynn Unger of Buckhannon and one on the way; one great grandson, Henley Wolford of Buckhannon; three sisters, Barbara Wharton of MD, Linda Sue Herndon of Buckhannon and Debra Hamner of AK and five brothers, Garry Jeffries of Fairmont, WV, Roger Jeffries, Joe Jeffries, Bill Jeffries and Don Jeffries all of Buckhannon. Mr. Jeffries was a carpenter by trade. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching Westerns and watched church services every Monday on TV. Friends will be received Friday, January 1, 2021 from 1PM to 2PM at the Sand Run Baptist Church in Excelsior, WV. A funeral service will follow at 2PM at the church with the Rev. Wease L.
