Joe and I were classmates at Sacred Heart Academy in Tampa (see photos). Those of us who knew him then are impressed to see his lifetime of accomplishments. His Mom, who was the sweetest) is no doubt proud of him from her lofty perch in Heaven!
Joe McCoy was an excellent professor and genuinely cared for his students and all those he associated with. He took the time to know his students and to guide them in their academic pursuits and their careers. A true Marine and a devoted public servant. Semper Fi.
Such a sweet, sweet man. Came into the Post Office twice a week to get his mail. I didn't know him real long, but he always had a smile on his face. I always looked forward to seeing him. Gonna miss our chats and seeing him come in. Rest in peace Mr. McCoy!
