Obituary of Hayes "Andy" Trout

Hayes “Andy” Trout, age 69, of French Creek, WV died Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at his home. He was born November 9, 1950, in Stone, KY, a son of Lonzo Trout of Ypsilanti, MI and the late Mary McFarland Trout. In addition to his father he is survived by his second mom, Eunice Trout of Ypsilanti; one daughter, Rianna Trout and companion Chuck Abshire of DeQuincy, LA; one son, Hayes “Lonnie” Andrew Trout, Jr. of Sulphur, LA; one step-daughter, Bregette Haas of Lake Charles, LA; the mother of his children, Betti Jo Trout of Lake Charles; two grandsons, Tylor Bryson Coire Abshire and Gauge Anthony Hayes Abshire both of DeQuincy; three brothers, Donald Corby Trout and wife Joyce of Carlyss, LA, Randall Trout and wife Suzanne of Ypsilanti and Arthelus “Tater” Trout; two sisters, Patricia Miller of LA and Shelia Widmayer and husband William of Ypsilanti and numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Mr. Trout was a Mud Engineer and a Christian by faith. He was a member of the V.F.W in Buckhannon and enjoyed going to the Eagles with his friends. Mr. Trout loved to do woodwork and enjoyed working on vehicles. He had a thirst for knowledge and was always learning new skills and trades. In honoring Mr. Trout’s wishes, he will be cremated. Friends will be received Wednesday, September 30, 2020 from 2 PM to 4PM for a memorial gathering at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 4 PM at the funeral home with the Rev. Ed Lowther officiating. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
