Charlotte and family, I just learned of Bartys passing and “I’m sorry” seems inadequate to express my feelings. I grew up in the small community of Orlando, WV and Barty was our neighbor. From a little boy, I’ve always admired and respected him for his friendship and guidance. Later in my life I was fortunate enough to have worked with him at Moore Business Forms, Inc. we played on the MBF softball team together, we were both pitchers. His memories will always be some of my most fondest. May God bless and comfort each of you through this most difficult time. Major John Bragg, WV State Police (Retired)

BARTY AS WE CALLED HIM WAS OUR NEIGHBOR GROWING UP IN ORLANDO. AFTER LEAVING, I NEVER SAW HIM, BUT WOULD ALWAYS ASK HIS SISTER PEGGY ABOUT HIM WHEN I SAW HER AT THE BURNSVILLE ALUMNI IN MAY. HE WAS A GOOD FRIEND. MAY THE SPECIAL MEMORIES YOU SHARED FILL YOUR HEART AND BRING YOU PEACE.

My special brother, what can i say? He love being around people. He loved helping everyone. He was happy and energetic. Always willing to sit a spell and talk. Loved gardening and being outdoors staying busy. I will miss you so much dear brother. Words can never say. RIP Marvin and tell mom and all we will see them again and miss them all too.
