I remember August 1984 when I came down to Buckhannon to meet the girl my brother was going to marry. It was a beautiful time and Valerie was a beautiful person. It is sad that we lost her so soon. May she rest in peace.
So sad to hear of Vals passing.
We were OB Nurses together at St. Jo
She was an excellent Nurse and a wonderful co-worker.
My husband and I took her home several times when roads were slick.
I moved away and lost contact with most of the girls. I regret not contacting her when we moved back.
Lots of memories, some make me laugh even now, some are sad as well.
RIP dear Val and enjoy your rewards in heaven for all your kind , loving care of those babies and Mamas.

Oh I am so sorry to hear of Val’s passing, I worked with her at St. Joseph’s years ago, she was such a kind and caring Nurse.. love and prayers to her family at this difficult time.
