Elizabeth Reeves Elizabeth Dean Reeves Elizabeth Dean Reeves 76, of Colonial Heights passed away Tuesday February 17, 2015 at Retreat Hospital. She was born December 16, 1938 in Buckhannon, Upshur County West Virginia to the late Harley Arbon Shipman and Cleo Virginia Dilworth Shipman, and was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Samuel Shipman. Mrs. Reeves was a United States Army Women’s Corps veteran and retired from the Federal Government, Software Engineering Center-Lee, Fort Lee, Virginia Computer field. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, in Colonial Heights, Virginia. Mrs. Reeves is survived by her husband David Reeves, daughter Kimberly Stratton (Steven), five grandchildren, brothers and sisters, Sylvia Dean and husband Donald, H. Randall Shipman, Angela Riddle and husband Robert, Virginia Yocum and husband Thomas, eleven nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 24, 2015 in Faith Baptist Church 1226 W Roslyn Road, Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834 with the Reverend Gene Balance officiating. Interment Private. The family will receive friends Monday February 23, 2015 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory 2033 Boulevard. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation 60 East 56th Street 8th floor New York, New York 10022. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
