"Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." (Isaiah 26:19). This loving prophecy tells us that one day we will see our loved ones come back to life right before our eyes. Please hold onto this hope and pray that since it from the bible it will come true.
I’m so saddened to hear this. I am so sorry Thelma. I remember Tonya bring tickled that we had the same name. Many prayers for you and your family during this difficult time.
My deepest sympathy to Thelma and the family. I was Tonya's Hospice nurse for a while and I really looked forward to our visits. She would show me how her angels and how pretty her nails were. She always had a smile. Sending love and prayers to the family. Tonya and Thelma will always be in my heart.
Thank you, Jean. I will always remember how she tapped her foot to Sonny McNears singing and when he was done she would look at me with the biggest smile and say “Mom, Gospel.”
Tonya far and away had the most beautiful heart I’ve ever known. When God made Tonya, he gave her a heart filled with goodness and love. He gave her the rare gift of joy too. She gently spread that joy with that big smile of hers. That smile could light up even the darkest room and warm any heart. She loved to make people laugh too! She was fun and sweet and warm and good and how lucky we were to have known and loved her.
Thelma and family, my condolences to you and your family. May your memory of Tonya be a happy one, of laughing times and bright and sunny days.
