Marjorie was well-known as a cattle farmer. She promoted farming as a way of life for young people, and we admire that a lot.
We always enjoyed taking talking with her and going out for a pleasant meal when we visited “home.” We will miss her a lot.
We send much sympathy to the rest of the family and we’re sorry we cannot get there to be with you. We are also grateful to the staff at Serenity for helping her enjoy her last days.
When I saw Marjorie in November, she said, “Well, I was always a farmer, but now I’m an artist.” I liked her coloring, and we are comforted that she enjoyed that so much the last few months.
Love to all,
Eloise Linger, cousin, and her husband, Ernest Harsch

Our Thoughts & Prayers are with Marjorie’s family @ this time. She
(& Bob) were sweet people. A very hard & dedicated farmer. We both grew up in the Brushy Fork area & knew them
as children. Later in life after Jerry finished his time in the USAF,
we rented a house from them, @ a year before Bob passed. Then our children got to know them as well. :)
She will be missed by many ppl in this area & farms all over the state of WV!
