Obituary of Frances H. Reger

RegerFrances Frances H. (Frani) Reger Frances H. (Frani) Reger, a resident of Chagrin Falls, OH died Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts, OH. She was the only child of the late Orval C. Harris and late Cosby Potts Van Horn, and was born on September 24, 1948 in Rock Cave, WV. She graduated from Buckhannon-Upshur High School in 1966 and was a 1970 graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College, with a major in business administration. She worked her way through college with assistantships and work study. She was also a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. She completed her senior year classes at UNC-Charlotte. Prior to having children, she worked as a credit analyst in Charlotte, NC, as an outplacement assistant at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, and as an administrative assistant for the controller at Beaunit Corporation in the Research Triangle, NC. Later in life, she and a close friend operated an interior design company for several years in Bainbridge Township, Ohio. She devoted her life to her family and serving the Lord. She was active in the youth programs in her churches, in Bible study fellowship, and devoted special love to her grandson. She loved to travel, however, her greatest passion was creating a warm and inviting home. She is survived by her husband John E. (Jack) Reger. They were married on December 28, 1968 and were planning their 46th anniversary. She is also survived by daughter Julie E. Dygert and son-in-law Rob of Hurst, Texas and daughter Holly R. Pape of Northfield Center, Ohio. Also, surviving is one grandson, Jackson Reger Pape. A memorial gathering will be held at the Bedford Church of the Nazarene, 365 Center Road, Bedford, OH 44146 on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 9am-11am and the service beginning at 11am. An additional celebration service will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 52 South Florida Street in Buckhannon, WV 26201 on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 with a gathering from 10-12am and service beginning at 12pm. Burial will follow at Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon, WV. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Robert H., Gwen F. and William L.
