Debra Darlene Reed Ward

Debra Darlene Reed Ward, age 61, of Norton, WV died Tuesday November 5, 2019, at her home. She was born September 19, 1958, in Lewis County, WV, a daughter of the late Richard Eugene Reed and Carolene Sue Nelson-Groves. On June 8, 2008, she married Rodney Ward who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Derrick Reed and wife Valari of Morgantown, WV and Daniel Reed of Colorado Springs, CO; one step-son, Timmy Ward and wife Brandi of Beverly, WV; three grandsons, Anthony Reed of Morgantown, Alexzander Reed of Colorado Springs and Kamron Shafer of  Clendenin WV; one granddaughter, Carlee Ward of Elkins, WV; two sisters, Paula Potts and husband Willie of Grafton, WV and April Darnell and husband Tim of Charleston, WV; one brother, Richard Reed and wife Teresa of Rock Cave, WV; beloved dogs, Peanut and Bruno and her beloved cat, Ariana. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one step-son, Jeremy Ward and one sister, Sonya Linger. Mrs. Ward was a Direct Care Staff Member for ResCare. Friends and family are welcomed to attend a celebration of her life at Gould Christian Church in Adrian, WV on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at 4 PM.  In honoring her wishes, Mrs. Ward will be cremated.
