Annabell Rucker Annabell Elizabeth Rucker Annabell Elizabeth Rucker, age 72, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at her home while under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice. She was born January 4, 1942 in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Glendle Willard and Nellie Frances Smith Roby. On December 13, 1984 she married Wilbur Wesley Rucker who survives. Also surviving are five sons, David Reed and wife Shirley of Mansfield, OH, William Reed and wife Sherry of Millersburg, OH, Jimmie Reed and wife Darlene of Buckhannon, Wilbur Wesley Rucker of Elkins, WV and Billy Currence of Cassidy, WV; five daughters, Elizabeth Ann Benedict and husband Robert of Medina, OH, Helen Jean Wolford of Reedy, WV, Betty Jo Wolford and husband Carroll of Buckhannon, Mary Currence and Tina Scott both of Mill Creek, WV; twenty four grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren and two sisters, Helen Sue Smith and Glenna Lynn Starkey both of Buckhannon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Joanne Lucille Launier, Martha Jean Rice and Betty Lou Labarge. Mrs. Rucker was an LPN and a Christian. Annabell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and she loved to plant flowers and work. Friends will be received Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 12 Noon to 2 PM the funeral hour at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Murrell officiating.
