Claude Calvin Reid Claude Calvin Reid Claude Calvin Reid, age 66, of Buckhannon, WV died on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Veterans Hospital in Clarksburg, WV. He was born March 30, 1948 in Painesville, OH to the late Floyd Leonard and Virginia Idel Rowan Reid. He was also preceded in death by one son, Claude Calvin Reid Rodrigue. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Josephine “Josie” Warino Reid. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Gary Rodrigue and wife Angie, Krystal Bevans and fiancé Matthew Rhodes, Brandi Small and husband John, Michael Reid and Matthew Reid all of Buckhannon, Robert Reid of IL and Joseph and Jeremy Reid both of OH. Also twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Renee Cheveko and friend Keith of WV and Marcee Phillips and husband Charlie of Mabie, WV and one brother, Hubert Reid of Norton, WV. Claude served in the US Army and did a tour in Vietnam. Claude enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Friends will be received Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 10 AM-2 PM the funeral hour at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home with the Rev. Dennis Estes officiating. Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Tallmansville, WV. The Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the graveside.
