Obituary of Regina Wodzinski Labno

Regina Wodzinski Labno, age 61, of Buckhannon, WV, died Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the Louis A. Johnson V.A. Medical Center in Clarksburg, WV. She was born July 15, 1957 in Scranton, PA, a daughter of the late John David and Yvonne Pearl Mealey Wodzinski-Lantz. On March 7, 1994 she married Leo Walter Labno, Jr. who survives of Buckhannon. Also surviving are three daughters, Andrea McBride and husband Kris of Winnie, TX, Lacey Labno and Paris Wilson and husband Joshua all of Buckhannon; one son, Chaz Labno of Clarksburg; three granddaughters, Maggie Ann Thomas, Carrie Ann Thomas and Jessa Wilson all of Buckhannon; five grandsons, Spencer Kidd McBride and Leo Vaughn McBride both of Winnie, TX, Kyler Wilson, Richard Howard Tusing, III and Asher James Labno all of Buckhannon; five brothers, Peter James Wodzinski and wife Shari of Romines Mill, WV, Edward Wodzinski and John David Wodzinski, Jr. and wife Beverly all of Buckhannon, Anthony “Tony” Wodzinski of Clarksburg and Eugene Lantz; five sisters, Dorothy Hines and husband John of Quiet Dell, WV, Florence Farrabee and companion Rob Posey, Helene Wodzinski and Marianne Lowman and husband Dan all of Buckhannon, Blair Kirkland of NH and Donna Lantz and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdad, Eugene Earl Lantz and three brothers, Alex Wodzinski, Johnny and Joseph Mealey. Mrs. Labno was a homemaker. She served in the U.S. Army for 10 years. Friends will be received Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 10 AM to 12 Noon at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 12 Noon Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the WV National Cemetery in Pruntytown, WV.  Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct Military Honors at the graveside.
