A lady I am proud to say was a part of my life. A long time ago when Polly still had the store open at Queens(1970's) We..Pam Liggett,myself and a few other girls would go to Pam's Grandparents (Troy and Miliie Zickefoose) camp behind the store and spend the weekend, we had Aunt Lena Zickefoose to watchover us...lol, she was about 70, what a peach of a lady. We always went to the store and got our snacks and pop and chatted with Polly.I went to visit Polly the day after her 100th BDAY PARTY, I could not attend so I made her a cake .Do you all remember the A&P Spanish Bar Cake? She loved it and we had a nice long visit , I will always treasure that day. Polly, you are now in a beautiful place and will always be remembered. LOVE YOU.
