Obituary of Leonard O'dell Reid

Leonard Reid Leonard O’dell Reid Leonard O’dell Reid, age 78, of Buckhannon, WV died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at his home. He was born May 13, 1935 in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Christie and Alberta Cochran Reid. On March 17, 1980 he married Ella Marie Smith who survives. In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, Chris Loudin and wife Jennifer of Beans Mill, WV; two daughters, Kari Gibson and husband Ron and Lynn Simmons and husband Scott all of Buckhannon; one grandson, Logan Loudin of Beans Mill; seven granddaughters, Crissy Loudin and fiancé Dustin Claypool of Hodgesville, WV, Holly and Emily Loudin both of Beans Mill, Kaitlyn and Kailey Gibson, Jordyn and Adison Simmons all of Buckhannon; one great grandson, Corbin Claypool of Hodgesville and one brother, Bobbie Reid of Cambridge, OH. He served in the US Army. Mr. Reid was a truck driver and a member of the Living Word Church of God. Memorial services will be held 2 PM Friday, January 24, 2014 at the Living Word Church of God with Pastor Frank Spears officiating. Upshur County Honor Guard will provide Military Honors at the church. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
