Dear Nicola, Rod, Jamie & other family members, Pat and I were both shocked and saddened upon hearing of Jim's untimely death. He was a fun loving upbeat guy who loved showing his gifted athletic talents. A great person in the locker room and I'm so glad he got to enjoy being inducted into the B-UHS Athletic Hall of Fame with his teammates. I still remember in awe how in practice he could catch footballs and baseballs behind his back and then flash that ornery grin. Hard for the coaches to get mad at him for clowning around. Sincere condolences with thoughts & prayers.

I was so saddened to look in the news today. Someone I called friend for most of my life, went to school with, and loved dearly passed on. I can always remember Jims joking and fantastic personality. The way he took care of the children was so amazing to me. He was someone who never forgot or failed to say hi no matter where we might have ran into each other. RIP my dear friend.

Debbie, children, Rod and Jamie, words cannot express the sorrow we feel for your loss of Jim. Our entire church family is mourning with you and praying fervently for you and all the family. As I was reading my daily devotional today I thought of James 4:14, which states: You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. But praise God Jim had a loving relationship with Jesus, and is with Him, gazing upon His face. We praise and thank Jesus for making it possible that you will all be reunited with Jim again some glad day. We love you all and will be lifting you up to our Heavenly Father, that His peace that surpasses all understanding will flood your hearts and minds. Just remember Jesus will be carrying you through this difficult time.

Jim was always fun and if you were with Jim you were having e good time. He new all of these (ornery) songs that still play in my mind and make me laugh and think of him.During football games he would say “put me in coach I don’t smoke). We would be learning new plays and he would be goofing around and not listen. We would line up and he would say “hey Posey , what do I do ?”.He was very fast coordinated and had an amazing set of hands . I am privileged to have known him .What a great guy!
