Obituary of Robert Uncapher

Robert “Bob” Uncapher, age 73, of Volga, WV, died Monday, April 1, 2019, at Broaddus Hospital in Philippi, WV. He was born September 10, 1945, in Latrobe, PA, a son of the late Melvin Mack Uncapher, Sr. and Lila Marian Frye Uncapher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Melvin Marshall Uncapher. He is survived by five sons, Adam Uncapher and wife Melissa of Volga, Clay Uncapher and wife Ranea and Robert Shawn Uncapher and wife Carol all of Chattanooga, TN, Paul Nelson of Clarksburg, WV and Robert Uncapher of Ashtabula, OH; two daughters, Leslie Day and fiancé, Lindsay Liberati of Philippi, WV and Deanna Munoz of OK; eight granddaughters, Lacey Uncapher of Volga, Haivan Halterman and Tristin Day both of Marlinton, WV, Kristin Priest, Heather Williams, Kalliegh Uncapher, Jenny King and Shawna Uncapher all of Chattanooga; five grandsons, William Seth Day and Daitan Halterman both of Philippi, C.J. Uncapher and Jay Faulkner both of Chattanooga and Christopher Uncapher of NY and four sisters, Bonnie Ketler, Rachael Taylor, Faith Ann Grant and Loretta Decker.  Mr. Uncapher worked for Barbour County Court House in Maintenance and was a former member of the Calvary Baptist Church. In honoring Mr. Uncapher wishes he will be cremated. Memorial Service will be held 1 PM on April 19, 2019 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Tallman officiaitng.
