Obituary of Donald Ray Corley

Donald Ray Corley, age 77,  of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, March 29, 2019, at Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport, WV. He was born December 1, 1941, in Rivesville, WV, a son of the late Howard and Goldie Norman Corley. On June 9, 1961, he married Connie Vincent who survives. Also surviving are one son, Jeffrey Corley and wife Shannon of Baltimore, MD; one daughter, Leslie Johns and husband Robert of Needmore, PA; three grandson, Douglas Corley of Detroit, MI, Darren Johns of Indianapolis, IN and Tyler Johns of Needmore, PA; one brother, Warren Corley and wife JoAnn of Rivesville, WV; one sister, Loretta Duelley of Barrackville, WV and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Howard Wayne Corley. Mr. Corley was a truck driver for the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and a member of the Church of the Open Door in West Minster, MD. Mr. Corley loved his children and grandchildren and loved to camp. Friends will be received Monday, April 1, 2019, from 5 PM to 9 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Holly J. Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Tennerton, WV.
