Donna was born in Allouez, Michigan.  Her life took her to many places including Battle Creek, MI; San Diego, CA; White Pine, MI; Topaz, MI; Grants, NM; Redstone, CO; Glenwood Springs, CO; and finally Tallmansville, WV. She is preceded in death by both her parents, Juanita and Carroll Gamble, a sister – Miriam Pollak, a brother – Ross Gamble, a son – Danny Larkin, and two husbands – David H. Donna was a very colorful character who loved an assortment of activities:  fishing, hunting, camping, woodworking, gardening, birding (feeding and watching), sewing, painting, quilting, knitting, and crocheting, to name a few.  If there was a craft to learn, she put all of herself into it, then moved on to the next passion. She loved music, both singing and listening. She was an avid reader. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to travel, take Sunday drives, and she really loved good food. Her ashes will be scattered at a requested location in the Keweenaw Peninsula of the UP, and a “Celebration Of Life” will be enjoyed by her immediate family. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
