Obituary of Johnie Fultineer, Sr.

Johnie Fultineer, Sr., age 73, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, January 3, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon. He was born November 12, 1945, in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late James and Lucille Grogg Fultineer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Ladenia “Sue Ann” Smith and one son, Kent Jason Fultineer. He is survived by two sons, John Fultineer, Jr. of Philippi, WV and Mike Fultineer of Buckhannon; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Mr. Fultineer was a Heavy Equipment Operator. He attended the Reger United Methodist Church in Teter, WV. Friends will be received Sunday, January 6, 2019, from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, at the funeral home with the Rev. Rodney Heckert officiating. Burial will follow in the Reger Cemetery in Teter, WV. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com.
