Obituary of Donnal Glen Lewis

Donnal Glen Lewis, age 87, of Buckhannon, WV, died Thursday, January 3, 2019, at the WV Veterans Nursing Facility in Clarksburg, WV. He was born May 8, 1931, in Upshur County, WV, a son of the late Joseph and Nola Cutright Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlene Lewis; one sister, Irene Wagoner and two brothers, Stan and Ped Lewis. He is survived by five daughters, Marcia Bourgeois and husband Kenny; Kim Cogar and husband Donald, Michelle Wilcher and husband Chad, Sheila Sines and husband Ray and Tammy Cox and husband Brian; three sons, Donnie Lewis and wife Myrna, Steve Lewis and wife Becky and Chad Lewis and wife Bridgett; grandchildren, Ian, Tess and Hunter Bourgeois, Jacob and Jordon Barr, William Twigg IV, Lindsay White, Kendle and Kyle Cox, Kendra Linger and Haden, Steven and Caleb Lewis; great-grandchildren, Elisha, Lily and Lyla Lewis, Colt Linger, Allison Lewis, Greyson Flores and Alexander Sines; one sister, Imogene Lewis, one brother, Hayward Lewis and his beloved dogs, Rusty and Rowdy. Mr. Lewis served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was the Owner of Lewis Lumber and was a Christian by Faith. Friends will be received Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 5 to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 PM on Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Tim Lewis and the Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow in the Ten Mile Baptist Cemetery in Ten Mile, WV. The family would like to send a special thanks to Roger Smith and Gail Lewis.
